Academic advisement: Sociology and Anthropology

If you are interested in majoring in sociology or anthropology, it is recommended that you have an advisor in the department. Our faculty members have broad areas of expertise, so you can take advantage of finding an advisor who shares your area of interest. To be assigned an advisor, contact our department. Your advisor is there to help you succeed and develop a graduation plan that is right for you. Meet with your advisor at least once a semester to plan out your classes and answer your questions.
